PET protective film
PET protective film is currently the most common type of protective film on the market. In fact, the plastic cola bottles we usually see are made of PET, also called PET bottles. The chemical name is polyester film. The characteristics of PET protective film are The texture is harder and more scratch resistant. And it will not turn yellow and oil like PVC material after long-term use. However, the protective film of PET generally relies on electrostatic adsorption, which is easier to foam and fall off. It can be reused after washing in the middle. The price of PET protective film is much more expensive than that of PVC. When many well-known foreign brands of mobile phones leave the factory, they are equipped with PET protective stickers. The PET protective stickers are exquisite in workmanship and packaging. There are protective stickers customized for hot-buy mobile phone models. No cutting is required. For direct use, some of the well-known brand REDBOBO film and OK8 mobile phone film on the market are also made of PET materials.
PE protective film
The main raw material is LLDPE, which is relatively soft and has a certain degree of stretchability. The general thickness is 0.05MM-0.15MM, and its viscosity varies from 5G-500G depending on the use requirements (the viscosity is different between domestic and foreign countries, for example, 200 grams of Korean film is equivalent to about 80 grams in China). The protective film of PE material is divided into electrostatic film, anilox film and so on. The electrostatic film, as its name implies, uses electrostatic adsorption as its adhesive force. It is a protective film without glue at all. Of course, it has relatively weak viscosity and is mainly used for surface protection such as electroplating. Anilox film is a kind of protective film with many grids on the surface. This kind of protective film has better air permeability and has a more beautiful paste effect, unlike plain weave film that will leave bubbles.
PET protective film
The protective film made of OPP material is relatively close to the PET protective film in appearance. It has higher hardness and certain flame retardancy, but its pasting effect is poor, and it is rarely used in the general market.
